Yankees Resign Left Hand Pitcher Andy Pettitte

Earlier this week the Yankees were able to come to an agreement with Andy Pettitte.  They signed him to a one year $12 million dollar deal.  He had an injury shorten year in 2012, and was only able to make 12 regular season starts, with an 2.87 era in 75 1/3 innings pitched.  With the addition of Pettitte the Yankees rotation is looking to be, CC Sabathia, Hiroki Kuroda, Andy Pettitte, Phill Hughes, and Ivan Nova.  They also have the option of using either David Phelps, or Michael Pineda. This makes the Yankees rotation stronger, and have a veteran leader in Andy Pettitte to help the younger players out.  Pettitte was rumored to only want to sign with the Yankees this off season where he has played almost all of his career.
