A player they talk about that could be a a impact catcher for the Yankees would be A.J. Pierzynski. They could also go to a group of rookie catchers to carry them through the year. Another topic is their bullpen, they feel that they do not need to add another arm to the bullpen because of the players they have their already. The have Rivera back to close David Robinson to set up, and a good seventh inning guy in Joba.

Since your past catcher Russell Martin finalizes $17 million, 2-year deal with Pirates, and they currently do not have an official player, do you think this will effect there overall. And I did not know that they were looking at him for their filler. that will be interesting to see how that plays out.
